Welcome to the Freethought Forum
The lofty high Renaissance and marked mannerism. The heavy and ornate Baroque era, followed by the gentle Rococo. Harsh neo-classicism, rich romanticism, lush naturalism, stern realism, blurred impressionism. Heady surrealism, blockish cubism, postwar Dada, pointy-cornered art deco and cookie cutter Bauhaus. Let us skip the dreariness of the past half century and arrive finally at FF Style.

2020 Race for the White House
Aug 24, 2019 - 8:30 AM - by mickthinks
I've just seen this in my arsebook feed ...

Two thoughts:

The people this will appeal to are a small and ,hopefully, insignificant protion of the electorate.

The people this appeals to are never going to heed any other message or argument.

AL-AQSA MOSQUE ISSUE IN PALESTINE MAY BE MORE DANGEROUS THAN A NUCLEAR WEAPON
Aug 23, 2019 - 11:12 PM - by Wael El-Manzalawy
A Petition to John Bercow (The Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom):

Al-Aqsa Mosque Issue in Palestine May Be More Dangerous Than a Nuclear Weapon

Al-Aqsa Mosque located in the Old City of Jerusalem, is the third holiest site in Islam.

We want to send a message to all decision-makers in the United Kingdom that there is no peace without Al-Aqsa Mosque. We urge them to adopt this issue. Britain is historically responsible for the division of Palestine, so Britain can play an important role in protecting the world from massive waves of violence if Al-Aqsa Mosque Issue is not treated wisely. The humiliation of Germany after World War I led to the appearance of Hitler and World War II. We should benefit from the lessons of history.

Please adopt Al-Aqsa Mosque Issue for the welfare of the whole world.
