Irwin fans 'in revenge attacks' on stingrays

Dead stingrays with their tails cut off have been found in Australia, sparking concern that fans of naturalist Steve Irwin may be avenging his death.

Mr Irwin, a TV personality known as the "Crocodile Hunter", was killed while diving in Queensland when a stingray's barb stabbed him in the chest.

Since then, 10 stingrays have been found mutilated on Queensland beaches.

Government officials said they were investigating the deaths and there could be prosecutions.

Two stingrays were found at a beach north of Brisbane with their tails cut off, while eight were found on another beach on Monday, The Australian reported.

There was a bunch of stupid anti-French bullshit here by the lefties for ages - including a lead-fart radio competition that would award some lame-arse prize to anyone who would officially change their French surname, (or if their surname was "French"). They advertised it repeatedly for ages like it was the greatest idea in the universe and nobody ever responded to it. What a bunch of dicks. They never mentioned it again after that.

Why can't these people spend their time in a more productive pursuit, like helping me hunt down that god accursed white whale that took my leg? Anyone want to join my crew? There's a shiny gold doubloon in it for anyone who helps me kill that scurvy sea demon.

Revenge killings against stingrays. Give me a fucking break. Mr. Irwin knew what he was doing when he got killed. He knew the risks and did what he loved anyway. Anyone who would kill stingrays as some twisted form of vengeance would only be demeaning his memory and what he stood for. The people killing those poor animals are fucking assholes.

On the other hand you could be forgiven for wailing on the actual animal that killed your mate - if it makes you feel better, (as long as you are not doing that instead of giving him CPR or something stupid like that). But it is preferable to kill the fucker before it actually kills him.
