Really? I find it to be somewhat James Brown-esque.

I've always thought she has a wonderful voice. I could just never stand what she sang. Then, a few years ago she did Lady Marmalade with a couple other people (I don't know who), and I enjoyed that.

Then she did a cover of Car Wash (which, BTW, is one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever, IMO), which I also enjoyed.

Now, it's my understanding, she's done a cd of songs with a more traditional sound, ala Tony Bennett and the like. I'll get hold of it from someone. I won't buy it until I test drive it first.

Christina Aguilera has a great voice. Great command and depth. She is in a class with Etta James, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, etc. She is that good. It's just a shame she's wasted it on watered down bland pop. I'd love to hear her sing At Last, Stormy Weather, Sunday Kind Of Love, stuff like that. She'd be great.
