I followed vm's link to skepticalcommunity.com, he had edited his post and it included the number of times edited as 1, I think it would be cool if such info were included in posts here. especially considering that we can edit as much as we want for 24 hours. Although it hasnt happened yet to my knowledge, it might be possible for a user to abuse the edit power.

That's a default feature of phpBB. It doesn't leave any tag at all until someone has posted after you, but once they have, it notes the number of times. I've always hated it on account of how it exposes the soft underbelly of my proofreading deficiencies.

That notwithstanding, if there's a way to hack it in I'd be amenable to installing it. (Especially if it were a user cp viewing option so I could ignore it peaceably unless I had to switch it on. :please: )

Just imagine if there was a "view previous version" button.

Man oh man, it takes me around 4 edits to get every one of my posts right. :( Vast majority of the time it's just changes in phrasing and spelling, but edit counts would imply otherwise.

Just imagine if there was a "view previous version" button. :scared:

I hate having my editing habits exposed, but I do like the idea of recording edits once you've had replies...
