In the wake of news that Dingfodistan had been overrun by oil company executives fleeing indictment in the United States, rumors keep slipping out of the former buffoonacracy that the former emperor buffoon of Dingfodistan, Dingfod, was not only unaffected by the cost accountant insurgency, but actually reported to be enjoying his birthday with cheese doodles and cheap beer, whilst hunkered over his home computer.
Here's hoping you got discounts on the cheese doodles and get to have a decent meal and maybe....just maybe....dessert.
Happy birfday, Dingfod.
former emperor buffoon of DingfodistanAre you thinking "custom user title" here?

Heh. This is how rumours get started.
That's okay, everybody already knows that I was not born unto this world by any natural means, but rather that I decended here from a higher astral plane. And that I did so on June 24th.
But anyway, happy birthday again, Warren Lee. :toiletdance:

Lemme see, I slept until 9:30 (I stayed up until #2 Dotter came in at 12:30 AM), got showered and shaved and went out to lunch at Mexico Lindo. I had their most excellent Puerco con Salsa Roja with seasoned rice and refried beans, inland wave had part of a cheese enchilada.
From there we went to Atwoods Farm Supply store where I bought a gallon of WD-40 that came with a free spray bottle. inland wave bought a new headstall for Angel, her horse of short stature that is due to come home from the trainer next month.
After returning to Rancho Costa Plenty, I worked on my motorcycles while inland wave worked on her horses. I put a handful of hex nuts and a quart of WD-40 in the Yamaha's gas tank and shook it all around. That technique successfully removed all the rust in the tank.
Then I pulled the trunk assembly off my Honda to access the rear shocks; replaced all four rubber bushings. One of them had worn all the way through causing metal bushing to be rubbing on center bolt, making a very annoying squeaking sound as the suspension went up and down. Now it's all fixed.
The Yamaha is still not going though as I discovered the petcock needs to be rebuilt, it's leaking. All the rubber parts are hardened and won't seal. Yamaha dealer is closed on Sundays and Mondays so it'll probably be next weekend before I get that 120 horsepower beast unleashed.
Then, I watched Star Trek that I had recorded on the DVR Saturday night while waiting for my parents to arrive from Stinkwater, Oklahoma. After they got here, we all loaded up in the Trailblazer and made the cross-town jaunt to Texas Roadhouse. I had the BBQ Chicken Breast, baked sweet potato, and cup of chili. I also got to eat half of my mother's Chicken Fried Steak.
After dinner, we made our way back to the hacienda for birthday cake, which #2 Dotter had ordered from Sam's Club. It came with enough candles. She put 51 of them on the cake and when lit I'm sure the cake could've been seen from space. All the pictures of it look like the view into an ore furnace. I managed to blow out only 50 of them with the first breath, the closest one flared back up. We all sat there looking at each other waiting with bated breath for the smoke alarm to go off. It did not. Thank goodness for the cool weather, the back door was open allowing the smoke to dissipate outdoors.
'Rents left at 9:30. inland wave studied until almost midnight. Then she put me to bed, if you know what I mean.
That was my day yesterday.
That sounded pretty darn good, actually.
