after having a liquid lunch with me. I suspect he is, at this very moment, scoffing down some food or a kebab.
He's only had 8 pints of Kronenberg, so I'm sure he'll be OK.

Not all who wander are lost. Some are merely pissed drunk.

Have any of you London wanderers ever been to Wong Kee? It's on Wardour St., south of the main drag through Soho. Rudest waiters in the world. It's great. One time a friend of mine was served a dish he hadn't ordered, and the waiter berated him into accepting and eating it anyway.

Never been myself but I know people who've been there. They loved it!

You have to go, it's awesome. As soon as you enter the door, the waiters are on you: "How many?" "Four." "Upstairs! Upstairs!," they yell at you. Then they literally throw the chopsticks, forks, and spoons on the table. The food is great though. The soups are meals in themselves, and delicious. Glad to hear it's still there.

From some online review:
found wong kei on your web site, called in for lunch saturday 17th,it was very busy and we were sent upstairs, we reached the 1st landing and were sent upstairs again, the manner of the waiters was very brusque & had I not read the reviews I would have walked out.
lol

Aww man. I wish I'd known about it while I was there. We spent a bit of time in Soho in the record shops. Sister Ray is my new favorite store.

:yup:
I'm sure it was fragment's idea to drink though. I, being a sweet, innocent thing, would never suggest such a thing.

Oh yes, I've been to Wong Kei. I think 4 of us shared a table for us with people we didn't know. On the third floor. Good stuff!
