To feign participation so we're less apt to delete the 2nd or 3rd post, which will contain the real payload: a friendly recommendation that we try some site, product, etc.

So shouldn't :ff: automatically reject any posts that don't have a post icon? That would cut down on some spam.

Just think of the poor little third world children toiling in sweatshops for hours turning out each piece of spam! Nothing is free which is built on slavery. :protest:
