Working, pretending to be working, eating, drinking tea, learning something new today at work, and a I just calmly stood up for myself with a customer on the phone just to find out that I had misinterpreted him and he actually cancelled an apt. with his customer to come in to explain it to me because he felt so bad about it.

I just finished my first Monday and Friday on Saturday and Sunday, now I have another Monday starting tonight, followed by three Wednesdays and then a Friday on Friday. That will be followed by a Monday on Monday for a change, then Wednesday on Tuesday, and Friday on Wednesday only to be start it all again with another Monday starting on that Friday night.

Let's hope this monday will lead to a good week considering the weather is so crappy. The sun is shining and with what little melting it is now doing, it is making everything a sheet of ice. At least yesterday we had a little slush for traction. I would say we have 2-3 inches of ice on the ground maybe more. Luckly we did not lose power, but other communities around us were hit hard and they expect to be without power for a week or two. Another system to start moving in next sunday. Hopefully, not as bad as this one. The high next couple of days in the low 20's with a low in single digits if not subzero. So much fun I can't stand it. I try so hard to like winter, but people I'm here to tell you it really does suck......

I have done all I can do as far as straightening up the place until Dingfod leaves for work. He is working nights, so the day has to be quite around here. Usually I leave for the afternoon, but I have school work I need to finish up for tomorrow and some stuff from work I can catch up on, so plenty to do with out making alot of noise. I hope my evening will be relaxing and worry free with carpet sweeping to be done during commercials of programs this evening. :yup:

It's a national holiday here in the UK this Monday.

I've been suffering with the flu all weekend. I knew it was coming last Thursday and Friday, but was able to continue working. Saturday and Sunday I was mostly in bed. Today I feel a bit better and am watching the TV. Tomorrow I'll probably be well enough to work again.

I often seem to suffer from colds and flu during weekends and holidays - this does seem rather unfair. :(

It is a weird start to a Monday morning, taking out trash, rescuing a neighbors horse from a busy street, I have decided that I will never travel without a halter and lead rope ever again.
