Smilies are only yellow on the outside. Inside, they're red blood and gore like the rest of us. (Liv, if you use this otherwise-fine smilie perhaps you'd like to fix the last frame.)

http://community.the-underdogs.org/smiley/armed/hanged.gifHow have we lived without this one? Essential.

in fact, I think maybe we dont have enough violent smiley's in generalThis one seems rather like :guns: . Anyway, there are violint smilies ... :violin: sorry, :boohoo: :gatlin: :lasergun:

By Jove, he's right!
I called for thought, not self-validation (thanks, though  ).

This is something to do with the too-clever-for-its-own-good inserting spaces into lines of user text when they get too long, before smilie tags are replaced with the smilies. I think it's a clear legal case of "not fit for purpose" and the buyers should get their money back. :hmph:

By Jove, he's right!
I called for thought, not self-validation You also called for action: Try making a longa conga line without a space in it. Report back in 30 minutes. :sadcheer:

But, I concede. I'm not getting much right these days; it's not surprising I chose the wrong directive in this case!

Well, that's very nice and tasty looking, but as I'm the great lard high host priest of the homemade apple pie, I was sorta hoping you could come up with a wedge of double-crust pie...generic is fine - y'know, could be used for apple, cherry, peach, rhubarb. There are meringue/cream pie lovers, too (but I'm not one).

Hey...I'm working on not being such a :oscar:

I'm kinda curious as to what you'd do if someone suggested deleting an existing smilie from the hoard. Would you care to comment? :reporter:

And just to deck the halls a little more, the generous and talented Zikes has made a :redhoard: to keep the :hoard: company. Could they be any more adorable?

Quick, liv, scour the countryside for more smilies to cover any possible bare patches (not that I believe there are any). The countryside around Ymir's blood would be a good place to start scouring, methinks.

Okay, I'm afraid at this point I have to go ahead and admit that I have no idea what the literary reference is. I'm glad y'all care about preserving my delicate, soft, lily-white hands, though. And thank you for the double :bliss:. Joe. They made me smile.

Mine was from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit. When the protagonist is talking to the dragon, Smaug, is shown the dragon's underside, which is armored with embedded gems. Out loud, he exclaims, "Dazzlingly marvelous! Perfect! Flawless! Staggering!" but seeing a weak spot, he thinks to himself, "Old fool! Why there is a large patch in the hollow of his left breast as bare as a snail out of its shell!" This becomes a critical point later in the novel as the knowledge of Smaug's weakness is conveyed to a man, Bard of Laketown, who uses it to slay the dragon.

livius loses 2 geek points.

Oooooh... Well, that explains all the Tolkien comments the other artists made when Zikes presented his work. He he... You're pretty damn funny, ain't you, Ymir's blood?
