If I had seen this promotional video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN0zxVkTH6A) back before I started playing Magic, I probably never would've started.

Those are almost the 4 shittiest minutes of video I've ever seen. Unfortunately for me, I've seen movies with worse sections... for example, Un señor muy viejo con unas alas enormes (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096077/) (IMDB rating = 3.4) which is based off a decent Gabriel García Márquez short story, but is probably the worst feature length movie I've ever sat through (during Spanish class).

I'm sure non-Magic players can appreciate the shitty production values just as much, although you won't understand who the characters are.

alright, i officially feel guilty for playing magic.

im glad i never saw that before i started playing. i actually started playing with ice age block cards, got competitive around mirage. but wow, what a bad little film.

In the beginning when they show the company logo, I swore those two were about to play catch. LOL

No wonder they're losing market share. I've seen Youtube productions that are higher quality.

Compare to this. (ftp://ftp.guildwars.com/movies/GuildWarsFactions-CinematicTrailer-High.zip) Warning - 60 MB download, but worth the wait.

I know nothing about Magic. I missed that particular stop on the geek-express (though I seem to have hit every other one).

And also, Guild Wars isn't really the same kind of game, even if it has some elements that are similar to card games...
