Well? I've tried everything from anti-spyware programmes (yes, as many as I can get my hands on, so DO NOT mention Spybot or Ad-Aware) to actually using regedit myself, but nothing works to get rid of these fucking regkeys on my system. ARGH!
For the record, this is all my brother's fault. He hasn't been home from Schoolies 24 hours and he's already got virii and other shit installed on the computer. I am fucking going to kill that little shit.

Try downloading Avast! (http://www.avast.com/) and installing that.
Then remove your normal anti-virus software.
Then open avast! and in the top left hand corner of the interface is an icon that will take you to the menu - from the menu, select "Schedule Boot Time Scan", and reboot your pc.
Avast! will find the virii and all you have to do is respond to each find with delete.
Once that has been done, re-schedule the boot time scan again and reboot again. Hopefully, it will be free of virii at that point.
Also, go into your add/remove programs thingy and remove any programs that that have installed themselves without your knowledge.
Actually, do that before you run your first boot time scan.
Let us know how you get on. If it doesn't work, we'll take another look at possible alternatives.

Yeah, sounds like you need something fairly clever to get in there and muck with the system before it boots, you've presumably got some resident process hanging around intercepting registry writes.

Er, no. This is Spyware/Adware regkeys, not an actual virus, though he got several of those installed on the computer as well. Virii are easy to remove though. Spyware/Adware isn't. Altnet is an ad-programme/product thing. I've managed to remove most of it, but I can't get rid of the regkeys, even using regedit. When I try to open the register folders/subfolders, I get error messages, so I can't even see how many keys I have in there, or what they're doing.
It seems like a serious problem, actually. I may have to ask around at some more geeky forums.

Did you try it and see if it would remove it or not?
As far as I know, ClassLoader trojans give easy access to your pc for adware/spyware.

This will be another waste of my time, but here goes anyway.
What OS are you running? If you have Win XP, and you have system restore enabled and have created at least one restore point that is older than your problem, the you should be able to fix this by doing a system restore.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry, I just realised how utterly stupid this all was.
Occam's Motherfucking Razor.
All I had to do in the end was login under my brother's username and delete the regkeys from there. Shitdamn. TEH SIMPLEST ANSWER IS USUALLY THE RIGHT ONE!
Okay, well, thanks anyway guys. Ahh, time to crack open a beer and laugh.

I'd use a handgun, WMD, or a light saber. :yup:
