Is that actually John Howard (never mind, I looked up the real John Howard)? I think it is frightening how ignorant American people are about the rest of the world. Then again, the video might have been edited to highlight the stupid people.

Some of that is totally taken out of context, too, I'll bet.
I mean, the guy calling out Italy and some of those axis of evil answers are just messing around. Everyone knows the axis of evil is Pluto, Jane Fonda*, Florida, and El Chupacabra.
* I can never remember if it's the actress or the sex act, but I would totally look that up before I instigated any aggressions.

I'm sure that the same could be done in Australia. Just edit out all the correct answers. Same in Europe.
That said, I'd guess that the average citizen in Australia is better informed of world affairs and global geography than the average American citizen. Doubly so for the average Euro citizen.
