It's is such a wonderful evening here :D. Sun is shining, grass is growing, birds are tweeting. I just phoned antti and he was at a barbecue, which surprised me somewhat, with him being in Finland and all. But I thought it sounded like a good idea. Unfortunately, I don't HAVE a bbq so I figured a virtual one would be the next best thing and you're all invited!
/puts on chef's hat with antler holes cut into it
* MooseIBe sets out BBQ and lights coals to heat
/moose carefully unpacks an assortment of sausages, burgers, chicken drum sticks, homemade kebabs and various seafood items
Anyone wanna help?

I'll start out with an orange juice and maybe a diet coke. Save the alcohol for later.
* ceptimus assembles some kebabs of alternating pork and chicken, with interposing layers of parsnip.

Roast parsnip that's been dribbled with pork fat while roasting tastes great. And it goes with chicken too. You should try one!

I have onion rings just here .... or there are fried onions in that pan over there :)
Condiment? We have English mustard, French mustard, American mustard, wholegrain mustard, horseradish, tabasco, brown sauce, tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, salad cream and blue cheese dressing.
*adds American mustard and ketchup to her dog and liberally doses with fried onions*

Oh I love roast parsnips with a roast dinner :). It's just not something that I've ever tried with kebabs before.

Pasta salad!
I think it sounds great with the roast moose. I've never had moose, so I'm looking forward to this...
oh...
Hi, Moosie.
No, Moosie, I did not say I wanted to eat you.
Yet.
You don't like pasta salad? Then how about some olives? I brought a huge tin of medium black olives. We can have fun by eating them off our fing...uh, hoofies.

I hate olives :(. Black ones are even worse than green ones. Olives are verboten at this party!
I make a really good pasta salad tho :) COld spiral pasta, sweetcorn, tuna, tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, sausagey bits and some sort of oil based dressing. Deeeeeeeeelicious!

No! Nobody puts cat food in my pasta salad! No tuna. At all. Evar.
The fine Genoa salami bits should be sufficient.
I'll just take my olives home, then, killjoy.

You do that. Make sure you bury them very deep ;).
Tuna is wonderful! Well if it's in oil, which admittedly makes it more fattening. You could try the same recipe with salmon or smoked salmon but it might make the whole thing taste a bit fishy.
Hot dog for you, GnG? Burger?

No, thanks, I'm waiting for the roast moose.
Tuna is nasty. It makes me gag. It particularly smells bad. Plus, think of the mercury and the porpoises.
no capitals in gng, moosie
