Marge: But I fell in love with Homer Simpson! I don't want to
snuggle with "Max Power"!
Homer: Nobody snuggles with Max Power. You strap yourself in and
feel the "G"s!
Marge: Oh, Lord.
Homer: And it doesn't stop in the bedroom. Oh, no. I'm taking
charge! Kids, there's three ways to do things. The right
way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Bart: Isn't that the wrong way?
Homer: Yeah, but faster!
[turning and walks face-first into a giant cactus]
Lisa: We should really put that in the corner.
According to imdb.com, Universal Studios is building a new attraction...
The Simpsons: The Ride?
NBC Universal's theme parks are planning to replace their Back to the Future attraction with one paying homage to The Simpsons, according to L.A. Weekly columnist Nikki Finke. Finke, citing unnamed sources, said that Universal Studios Florida plans to open "Travel with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie" in the summer of 2008, taking over the Back to the Future area that was shut down on March 30. The attraction remains in operation at Universal Studios Hollywood and Osaka, with no plans yet for the Simpsons ride to replace it "because all the focus is on Florida right now," Finke said.
One can only hope that Homer is not the safety inspector for this ride.
