I dislike almost all commercials because they interrupt the show I want to watch, but a few commercials over the years have made me laugh hard.
About three years ago Snapple had a commercial with rotten fruit with legs and arms egging a police car, then it cut to a prison seen where a rotten pear was stabbing another rotten fruit with a carrot peeler. Then it cut to a utopic place that is supposed to be at Snapple and it had a guy reading a book to a legged fruit sitting on a park bench. Then cut to the wood shop at Snapple where a pineapple was trying to hammer a nail into a piece of wood but was missing. I only saw this once. My guess is someone griped and it was pulled, but man was it funny.
I really like the Geico commercials of the cavemen being insulted, the squirrel running across the road causing the car wreak and the long version of the one with Dr. John Parker talking about hair loss.
What commercials can you stand?

I like the rubberband man office supply (don't remember which store) ads, and especially the claymation Christmas version, with the little claymation kids singing the chorus.
(Have I ever mentioned that afros just make me unreasonably, giddily happy? I don't know why, but I love them crazy crazy lots. And the bigger the better.)

But Yeah! that's the set of commercials that came to mind when I saw this thread title. That guy is my friggin' hero: ya know, if you're gonna do somethin', do it well, do it with gusto and have a blast!
There are other commercials I really like, but they aren't coming to mind right now.

SBS has a commercial to Deep Forest's "Sweet Lullaby" that has a little girl on a tricycle travelling around the world. Greatest. Ad. Ever. I don't know if it's the actual Sweet Lullaby film clip, or whether it's a special ad done for SBS, but yeah, it rocks my sad little world.

There's one for a nice sensible car (Toyota Camry?) where boyfriend is driving, girlfriend is in backseat behind boyfriend and Dad is passenger in front seat. I'm paraphrasing from memory, but I love the dialog on this commercial.
It is a tense silence that is broken by the Dad,
Dad: "So Steve, how's the new job?"
YoungMan (nervous): "I'm Bob."
YoungWoman (exasperrated): "You know that, Dad."
Dad looks out the window as silence builds again, turns to his daughter and asks,
Dad: "What happened to Steve?"
(pause to look out window again)
Dad: "I liked Steve."
parental mind games! cracks me up.

I just saw an Ameriquest Mortgage commercial where the guy is talking into his cellphone headset at a convenience store, and he tells the person he's talking to "You're getting robbed!" and the clerk maces him and a woman tasers him. Pretty funny.
I also like that other commercial where the guy is telling his girlfriend he finds her attractive and the woman next to him thinks he's talking to her. Also very funny.

On my top ten list of recent all time favorites:
The Verizon Wireless (http://www.adweek.com/aw/creative/best_spots_03/030317_22.jsp) ad where the chimp is screetch-talking into a banana, "Can you hear me now?" "Good."
http://www.adweek.com/aw/images/best_spots/best_spots_03/0317_bs22.gif
The Sierra Mist (http://www.usatoday.com/money/advertising/adtrack/2003-04-20-sierra-mist_x.htm) ad where a zoo baboon catapults another baboon over the plaster "mountain" into the polar bear pond. He starts backstroking and with a shit-eating grin sings a warbling high note (the kind you would sing after jumping into very cold water. "Yeah, it's that refreshing".

Most of the Geico ads are kinda funny. That's about all I can think of at the moment.I like the one for the glue, a grand piano on the ceiling in the background. This glue can do this, but it can't save you any money on car insurance.
My favorite are the Citibank credit card fraud commercials, the best is the one with the middle-aged guy in his undershirt talking in a girl's voice:
First I emptied the checking account and then I hit the mall, and there in the window was this sexy little outfit, and oh my gosh, I just had to have it!
Fifteen hundred dollars for a leather bustier?
I didn't care, it lifts and separates. Heh.
Plus, it's not like I'm actually paying for it. Hehehe, ah.

I like that commercial for the pick up truck where the six guys are riding in it, going on a road trip and one guy is singing Shania's "I feel like a woman' and REALLY getting into it --and the other guys are obviously uncomfortable... the point being I guess that it's a roomy pick up truck.
The Geico ads are funny, I agree the caveman ones are pretty good.
I really liked the old diet coke commercial... 'just for the taste of it....diet coke' not cause it was funny, I just kinda liked the tune.

There's this one commercial that always brings a tear to my eye.
It's a Campbell's Soup commercial. A woman is preparing soup in the kitchen for a little girl who is sitting in a bedroom by herself. The woman brings the soup to the girl and the girl smiles. She says: "My mom used to make this for me". The woman gently smiles and replies: "So did my mom"
I can only imagine that the girl has recently lost her mother or something.
It's a touching little scene that always gets me.

The original Beggin' Strips ad, with the dog looking for the bacon ...
"There! On the bag ... what's that say? I CAN'T READ!" :hysteric:
More recently, the new Aflac ad where the duck is doing stuff for the guy in the apartment with the broken leg. He's talking to his buddy when the doorbell rings. The duck grabs some money and is heading for the door. The guy says that the Chinese food has arrived, and his buddy says, "Oh good! I love duck!" At which, the duck spits out the money -- flash to an outside view, car in the driveway: we see the delivery guy being chased by the angry duck and he dives into the front of his car! :chuckle:

Another funny one is that Twix commercial where the guy is sitting there with is candy bar and his wife comes in in the room and says 'Baby doll, do I look fat in these pants?' She's wearing hot pink spandex and her butt just looks HUGE. lol.. And in desparation he stuffs the candy bar in his mouth and starts inaudibly mumbling ... then it cuts and says "Need a moment?'---and the wife is all happy because she thinks he said no and she dances out of the room saying 'thank you sweetie pie'...lol.

The Geiko ad I like is the one for the reality show, Tiny House. "The drama is real, but it won't save you money on car insurance." I love when the woman kicks the man out of the tiny bed and says something like, "You have got to be kidding!"
I also like the older Staples commercial they always show during back-to-school time. Where the happy dad and the bummed out kids are shopping for school supplies, and it plays the Christmas song, "Its the most wonderful time of the year."

I like every Victoria's Secret commercial I've ever seen...but they're waaaaay too short.
Then, there's all the nice hair care and skin care products commercials that I enjoy, but never remember the name of the product.
Other than those, the Geico caveman commercials have been gratifying and the CapitalOne (those despicable, slimy, no-count credit ursurers) commercials with the barbarians getting jobs in modern culture were amusing. (But I still would not have that crap in MY wallet.)
I really enjoyed Budweiser's commercials with the animated frogs and the ones with the "little ass that could" becoming part of the Clydesdale beerwagon team. (I still wouldn't buy that swill under any circumstances, though.)

This isn't in the category of funny, but one of the tissue companies, I think it's Kleenex, has a commercial where a guy has a chair and a couch outside and random people come sit on the couch and tell their stories, like outdoor therapy. The one that arrested me was the young woman who said she lost 30 friends during the storm (undoubtedly hurricane Katrina in NO/Gulf Coast). I thought, "holy mackerel, 30 friends died." That was mind-boggling. I don't know what I would do if 30 of my friends died. Because that's only a small percentage of the people who exist. I might not have any friends left if that happened to me. How do you return to "normal" after something like that?

There's a commercial running right now for Taco Mayo. It cracks me up every time I see it. It shows moon mission footages of an astronaut bouncing along on the moon while the audio has him saying "Hippety-hoppity, hippety-hoppity! Over the hill we go, hippety-hoppity!", then footage showing the lunar module about to take off with the audio running down a checklist, then saying, as the craft blasts off, "I get the feeling we're forgetting something." Then you see the bouncing astronaut again "Hippety-hoppity, hippety-hoppity", followed by the Scottish-sounding announcer's voice saying "That was unexpected, like Taco Mayo's [blah-blah]". The commercial ends with the hippety-hoppity astronaut. Cracks. Me. Up. I wish it was on YouTube.
