Unfortunately, I do not have the correct conditions for jewelry photography available to me; but yes, there is a bit of open filigree which is a sorta retro vintage style and attracted me to the mounting. The ring had a round center stone in the store, which I felt didn't go with it the mounting so we switched it for the oval :)
