Cairo University lecturer, Ezzat Atiya, has been suspended after intimating that Muslim men should breast feed from their female coworkers to get around their religious ban on being alone together. He suggested that after five breast feedings, the man and woman could be alone together without violating Islamic law, allowing the woman to remove her scarf and reveal her hair.
Atiya said he had drawn on medieval scholarship to justify his opinion. He was later quoted as saying he had retracted his statements on this subject because they were based on the opinions of a minority of scholars.
Damn, this was one workplace relations idea I could give my full attention to. I already had a couple of coworkers in mind.
