You might want to consider adding a couple of items to the FAQ. Specifically, a question on how to construct a poll, and another on how to do thumbnailed attachments.

Good ideas wade, thanks for the suggestion.

Instructions on how to construct a proper, 'leaving the forums' thread might be useful as well. :dramaq:

We'll definitely add those, wade. Thank you. :thankee:
Ymir's blood, I'm afraid I'm not very good at the dramatic adieu thread, although I've certainly read more than my fair share of them. Got any tips?

Wade, much to my own suprise, it turns out we actually already have FAQ entries for making polls and attachments (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_freethoughtforum#faq_vb_poll_explain). Were you thinking perhaps they could use some expansion?

I must admit I never looked for polls in the index. That was inspired by onethedole's recent problem with posting a poll. For attachments, that is OK as far as it goes. But as far as I can tell there is no explanation of how to do the thumbnail thing.

Oh that's just an ACP setting, wade. Any picture that gets attached shows as a thumbnail.
