Any chance of getting the ability to ignore all posts from a particular user, as you can do on CF and IIDB?

Sure. Click on the username in a post and select "Add [username] to your ignore list".

Dammit, I actually looked for that option before posting and didn't see it. That's what I get for trying to be coherent this close to bedtime.

:) It's in a couple of other places too, like on their profile, but more importantly, this is bedtime? Do you work a nightshift?

Yes, as of a week ago I work midnight to 8 AM. Zzzzzzzzz. Actually it has its advantages, one of which is a 15% pay raise. And much as I hate sleeping the daylight away, I hate waking up early in the morning more.

I don't know how sustainable it is, but that 15% pay raise is worth a lot. My boss remembers his night shift days with fondness. Of course, he's an anti-social computer nerd and more than anything loved being left totally alone to do his job. Do you stll have weekends off?

Yeah, I still have Friday and Saturday nights off. I also actually have work to do, so the time goes faster. And I only overlap with my boss for an hour and a half, so fewer stupid questions.

That sounds pretty damn good, all told. Now get some rest, man. Sorry to have kept you up with my curiosity. :sleepy:

Sorry Dave, but the ignore feature doesn't currently work on me. It's a failing (IMHO) of the software that administrators are unalterably ever present. :innocent:

Only Goliath would regret that "feature".
Eh, he's the only one who has said so but I'm very sure he's not the only one.
Hey how cool is that? An entire sentence without a word over four letters...

So what, any nut that can type can do that with not too much work.*
*Particularly those with limited vocabulary skills like myself.

OK, we get that you have no life. No need to pile it on. :P

Meanies.
Blue Meanies? You are so insightful. I'm blue a lot of the time, and I think Joe is blue at least some of the times.
