you know, you go to all the touble of settngs things perfect... meticulaously keeping tempuraters perfect, slowly decreasng them over few months , then slowly inrceasing them. Then at same time.. slowy day after day you shorten the daylight hours then lengthen them..my freekin ball pythons should be in seaon and be horny as hell right now...but nope they wont have none of it...what do I have to do track down some national geographic sanke porno for them?

yep quite certain, its easy to tell. you just need to probe them, the probe fits a lot further into the femail.....there is also natural dimorphism in that females tend to be 30-40% larger than the male, males also tend to have longer spurs. both snakes are around 5 years old and should be in prime, the femail is a huge 5 1/2 foooter

spurs are remenants of hind legs that happen to be found on pythons

Hmm, really the only experience I have with snakes is with those of the trouser variety so I'm not really qualified to give advice.
