My son is back in Eugene to marry the politician whose campaign he managed a year ago. No, he's not getting married, and he's not gay. Instead, he got his internet ministers' license, and is now a "Reverend". He's performing the ceremony.
He was practicing his lines last night. The wedding is using the Unitarian (i.e atheist) wedding vows. I can't remember exactly what they comprise, but one bit goes something like: "I promise to work to help my partner attain his full potential".
I told my son that I believe this constitutes a sacred promise to nag.
