Thanks, guys. I'll let you know about my progress in this whole thing. Hopefully I'll be unhitched by the middle of August. Suprisingly, signing the papers was pretty devastating. Until then, I thought I would be happy about the whole thing.

Oh, yeah, I signed them on my birthday...pretty fucked up day, it was.

It has been hardon them, but they are happy with Jim's new g-friend. He pretty much lives with her. They were more upset that we were still married than they are over the divorce.

I remember filing divorce papers on my one year anniversary...so I can sort of relate to what your going through. Except for the whole joining the Navy thing. But I hope this all works out for you.
