The sad thing is that I avoided one of my nieces back in Michigan 'cause she and her son had the flu. If I had known I'd get sick anyway I would've gone to see them!

I've been drinking a lot of tea, taking vitamins, eating chicken soup, scarfing cough drops like candy and taking NyQuil before bed. That last is my favorite part of being sick.

On the bright side, as of tomorrow I'll be resting by big behind on a new Queen-Sized bed I just bought. It's got a naked pine frame and everything. I feel so growed up.

I'm glad to hear you haven't been doing international flights.

Airline flights are seething, boiling stews of viral infections in transit. And bad food, too.

I'm a believer in sleep. The new queen sounds bodacious. Lots of sleep, punctuated by trips to the bathroom to continue the fluids cycle; that's the ticket. Fruit juice. If you can make it to the frig.
