View Full Version : Do you owe anyone an apology for what you did last night?

OK, it's over. New Year's Eve celebrations are more than a few drinks and a hangover in the past. Any apologies due for what you did while intoxicated last night? Preemptive apologies are acceptable.

I apologize for ripping into lady cop. I've been under a lot of stress and trying to quit smoking...

Nope. Someone owes me an apology for making me have to get up at 2:30 am, to look after the drunken little fuck so he didn't drown in his spontaneous 3-am bath.

Well it's only 4 pm here in California so I haven't done anything to apologize for....yet.

I'm glad to see that you apologized. I wondered just what the hell had happened to you because being my friend Lauri's BF I found your behavior kinda out of character. Cuz Lauri ain't no fool.

Only 4:45p for me as well. Plenty of time left to do something apology worthy.

I haven't done a great deal to apologize about in recent years concerning New Years antics. Quite a few things years several years ago when under the affluence of incohol, but fortunately for the most part I was an unusually happy drunk.

But seeing that warrenly has given me this opportunity to spill my guts there is something I wish to apologize about. When I was a young boy I was a Children's aid child and so was treated worse than crap by those whom had enslaved me. Now how to impress young girls at the school I infrequently attended and climb up the pecking order ladder? The community I lived in was quite near to war plants that manufactured bombers and so many very poor families moved into the rural community so that the fathers and some mothers could work at the war plants. Some even moved into chicken houses, long abandoned old houses etc. I was fucking cruel to those kids that moved into the neighborhood.

I'm so fucking ashamed how I spoke to those children , often making them cry. All that just so I could look good in comparison. I have had had many nightmares in recent years about my cruel self in those long ago days. Especially about a little girl named Phillis. Poor damn kid never did anything wrong all the time I knew her.

I'd give just about anything to be able to hug her and say I'm so sorry.
And so Phillis, Nancy, Robert, Rita and others I apologize.

Ya I know kids can be cruel but that was no excuse. :(

I lost track of all those kids when I ran away to the big city and so there is little to no chance of ever apologizing to any of them.

Well, I didn't get laid last night; I even bought diner. The flowers are sitting on the table... :yup: The late X-mass presents are in the truck, it's raining hard, and I don't know where she is... As they say, I got a heater in my truck and I don't give a fuck, but I love her. Stay away from those CA women.

I bet you like to drive fast, or do you not have a license. People should be required to have a license to get online -- it's only safe. Maybe lady cop can run my record. :D

Yes. That is all I know. She called last night and I'm waiting for her to call so we can go out of town like planed. I'm tired because I didn't sleep at all.

Well I suppose ya could have just left the drunken little fuck to his own fate. But then again t'would be very messy ......awkward questions to answer, all that boring paperwork to complete. In conclusion, ya did the right thing Adora

Okay. Thank you. Please try and get some sleep, Dan. Your posts during insomnia bouts can be a little unnerving, to say the least. Take care of yourself.

I got very, very drunk. A bottle of Jack Daniels, 3 mugs of beer and 3 ciders drunk. I'm pretty sure I don't have to apologise to anyone because I remember everything with crystal clarity, possibly on account of trying these new hangover pills that you take before and after drinking. I do remember spilling Jack down the front of someone's shirt but she was as drunk as me and didn't seem to care a jot so no harm done.

I'd like to apologize to all of you for staying sober last night. I'm much more amusing when I'm drunk.

At least it seems so to me. Some others beg to differ.
