Bad news - don't even get me started, first the usual waste of time meetings, but then we wasted most of the day on a useless freaking semantical shell-game, when the wife gets home I'll have to go back to work and do what I would have done if I wasn't in a the meeting that started off with the statement "this meeting should take about 10 minutes" that went on for 5 &@$#% hours

Bone pain. And lots of it.

The doctor prescribed me percocet but I try to take it only when it gets so bad I want to punch the wall. I have a brother who is addicted to Vicodin and I would rather not have that for myself.

The doctor is not completely convinced that I have lyme disease. I take antibiotics for six weeks and see if the bone pain starts to go away.

Oh no kidding. I went to a very very very small dealership where my mom and dad are. They are a lot more small town and a lot less pushy. I went to a few bigger dealerships around here but they disgusted me so much I had to go back home.

Good news: It's Labor Day, an American federal holiday.

Bad news: I have to work it.

Good news: I get double-time for all hours worked today plus 8 hours of holiday pay.

Bad news: Income tax will get so much of it I'll hardly even notice the difference.

Good news: I'll get most of that back at tax time.

Bad news: At tax time I come to the full realization of how much I pay in income taxes.

Good news: I almost always have a refund coming, if not from the feds, the state.

Bad news: Income tax refunds are taxable, federal by the state, state by the federal. Damn goobernators and federnationalisticas.

Good news: We have clean water to drink, relatively good quality food to eat, places to keep bad guys when they get caught, and reasonably good roads to drive on.

Yup, he's reclassing. He was orignally supposed to go last spring, then this fall, and now it's supposed to be after the holidays. I don't know we've been jerked around so much on this, guys have been two days out from leaving and had their orders yanked more than once. This date looks like it should stick though.
