Perhaps the sex ratio goes back to the grand old hunter-gatherer days. More likely to die hunting a wild aurochs and then fending off the carnivores while butchering it than while gathering wild tubers and berries. Not to say that Paleolithic people didn't get killed by wild animals when gathering, but it seems like an inherently less deadly activity I will presume.


I bring my laptop almost everywhere too, CT. I have this awesome laptop bag (jinx doesn't sell them anymore, but ogio still makes them) with almost anything I would ever need to survive (plus a laptop) inside. It's like a Batman's utility belt, except it isn't.
