CBC's frequently excellent investigative program the fifth estate just re-ran The Denial Machine (http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/denialmachine/index.html), a report investigating the methods and personalities inside the global warming denial campaign in the US, and now in Canada. You can watch it online through their website.
The whole thing is excellent, but the best part was the show's drawing out both the continuity of methods and overlap of people between the smoking-cancer denialist PR and that of global warming. Same PR firm, same approach, and in some prominent cases even the same scientists.
