Damn you Tivo!

We've been watching The War, so we had to set the Tivo up to record the later showing of the big-ass finale of Top Chef, the repeat of the episode - they always run new episodes twice, back to back episodes.

I didn't know that the finale was going to be live, and like many live TV events, it ran over its allotted time. When I went to watch it, I actually got the last five minutes of the show, and immediately found out who won. Arrrghhh!

And it wasn't even the guy I liked Hung, you have no soul!

I was hoping Casey would win. She's been so good throughout the season, plus, sisterhood and all. She really did screw the pooch, though, so that was that.

As much as I'm no fan of Hung's, how could they have given Top Chef to the guy who made an inedible dish? Even if it had been just aight, Dale probably would have won.

I felt bad for Casey, she totally fell apart. Hung's a great technician, but Dale cooks with so much more heart.

I agree. Still though, he scored that insanely cherry prize where he gets to go party in the Caribbean with Eric Ripert. And he found his passion again! So it's all good for Dale, despite his not getting Top Chef.
