A first edition of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Ernest was given to a charity shop in a handbag (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/staffordshire/7052476.stm).

I wonder who is gonna get to cash in on that?

I periodically check my local goodwill or garage sales for rare books for my collection or to sell on ebay. People never realize the value of an old book.
