This is a new version of Tontie, a cross between Zelda and Whack-a-Mole. So I get all the way to level 20, but I can't manage to kill the boss. I almost killed him once by repeatedly hitting the shop and using the short time after I exit the shop to nail the bastard. But that was from luck. It isn't easy.

Eyemaze won't load for me right now so I can't make any comparisons, but I've uploaded the v3Arcade version of Tontie to the arcade here. Enjoy. (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/arcade.php?do=play&gameid=92) :)

livius, you rock. Everyone should play this game. Try using IE or Opera or something.
Damn you, Abe. There goes my weekend...

I can't get into it on my laptop, I'm afraid. Even using the numlock it just doesn't flow without a classic numeric keypad. I'm getting a big kick out of the high scores list, though. Nice quotes, Abe. :yup:

Alright, it took me a little while to figure out some things, but it's definitely cool! The other hammers -- bronze is all I've gotten, actually -- kick ass! The ray gun is pretty cool too!

Shake, I usually skip the bronze hammer and save up for silver. Once you have the silver hammer, you can kill the mace-and-chains and the money-stealers for two gold coins each, and then you can get your gold hammer. The gold hammer and the wings are vitally important. You need the wings and silver hammer before you pass level 10.

Thanks for the tips, Abe!
It also took me a little while to realize that hitting those faceless fuckers actually loses you coins!
Just wait until you get to the faceless fuckers with bags.

I don't get the grow game.??? any help with that one.. :chin: The Grow game is a bit interesting, but you solve it only by trial and error, not smarts. You drag the objects to the center and they level up if you have the right sequence. If you get just the right sequence of ten, then you will have everything leveled up. You can find the solution on the web somewhere. There could be several solutions.

The first time I did the Grow game, I got 9600. Haven't touched that yet, although I just got close with 8900, and saw some things I hadn't seen before. I'm starting to figure out certain things which should go on before others.

ApostateAbe,
I finally figured out the grow thing. Got up to 12,500. Think I got it :D Thank for the insight.. :yup:
Now what about VANILLA...??? What is the trick to that ??? :chin: I keep trying, not sure what I'm suppose to be doing.. :giggle: :giggle:

I think with Vanilla, you're just supposed to be making the tallest tree-thingy without it leaning over too far. Got 12.8' on my first try, and have now easily surpassed that!

It is a little frustrating that there's no instructions for any of these. Certain games are more obvious to figure out than others.

SHAKE,
Thanks for the Vanilla tip.. Boy you have that right.. Not one word on how to play these games.. I don't read instructions usually.. hate them.. Only read them, if all else fails.. :D

And we have a new champion. How many hours of continuous play did it take you, bey?

quite a few, and when I wasnt playing tontie, I was thinking about it.
optimal finger placement. I am considering making the 123 my homerow when playing for optimal performance.
I am such a geek.
plus I used a cool quote for the championship from robin hood men in tights.

Woulda been cooler if you'd spelled Sherwood right both times, though. :tmtongue:

could you edit that for me?
I dont think users can edit the arcade championship statement.
check out my kickass, probably inaccurate since its from memory, hamlet quote for the number 2 spot.
