Blame Brimshack. That's all I'm gonna say...
No, of course it isn't.
I am assuming that many of the people here already know me, but just for the record:
Yes, I'm that seebs. This isn't quite true; about once every five years, someone who asks that question is actually thinking of someone else. But, yes. I'm the seebs who is one of the top five posters ever (by volume, at least) over at ChristianForums, who moderates comp.lang.c.moderated, who does a lot of trivial patches for NetBSD, who writes The Cranky User... I'm most of the famous seebses out there. Google has something over 40,000 Usenet posts by me in its archives. I need more hobbies. :P
So, howdy!

So, um, how are you php programming? :D
Welcome, seebs. It's really nice to have you here. Now pardon me while I go strangle Brimshack til he squeaks. ;)
/me edits in her giggle at seebs' custom title

Hi seebs! :welcome:
For what it's worth, I was the first or second highest poster (by number of posts) on IIDB for quite a while. :gleam:

Now I'm all nervous and stuff, what with you being a famous celebrity and all.
Oh.
Wait.
You're just a nerd celebrity. Never mind.
So, howdy!

I know nothing about PHP, but I learn most programming languages faster than experienced users write in them. :P

HI Ms.Babylon. Welcome to FF.
Hey, wait! How come seebs gets a hello before the rest of us?

I was trying to be as unobtrusive as possible. Thought I might attach myself to another poster's hello thread.
:innocent:
Hello Livius. Brimshack sent me. :)

Okay, here was the plan. I'd hop from Hello thread to Hello thread..welcoming everyone to the site. Before you know it everyone is accustomed to seeing me around and I am transformed into a regular.
All this would happen without ever having to introduce myself. Brilliant..don't you think? :D

What are you on about, Ms. Babylon? Your intro thread was a delightful read. One of my favorites this year. Or was it last? It seems I've known you forever. :didi:

That's right! I forgot about that thread on the other site :)
I remember you were pleased that I spelled your name correctly when replying to you.

Oh, I was just trying to pretend you'd written one here. ;)

I'm always pleased when that happens, but that doesn't mean I remember it. Sadly I'm lucky if I can remember my name from one day to the next. I remember yours, though. Well, a couple of them anyway. :D

Damn you're right, I didn't use Ms.Babylon on the Godless Heathens site.
Silly me.
I think I was Jezebel over there. You probably wouldn't remember me, I only had about 20 posts.
Well nevermind...Hello Viscous, nice to meet you. :)

Hello, seebs and the mystery Iraqi woman. Hope you enjoy your stays. This board is one of the finer ones I've ever seen, and really shows off the time and energy put into it by the administrators. (And not in the gaudy, horrific gratuitous bling-bling manner of ChristianForums or TheologyWeb, either.) :yup:

You're such a goof. I said I remembered you. Both the name you used there and the name you used in that other place I've never been to. :)
Well nevermind...Hello Viscous, nice to meet you. :)
Nice to meet you too. Again. :welcome:

Silly, Ms. You could never be unobtrusive, nor would I want you to be even if you could.
Hello Livius. Brimshack sent me. :)
He is a wise man. Too bad he's also such a godawful monster (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127).

Wow, WinAce, that's a wonderful compliment. You've described exactly what we've aimed for all these months. It means a lot. Thank you.

Ditto. It means a lot to me that the effort wasn't wasted. We had a lot of those waking up in cold sweats thinking what if we build it and nobody comes? moments. :yup:

Oh, whatever. Once you leave the garage you've sold out anyway.
Welcome, seebs.
