And then to a climate-controlled glass box in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings: King Tut (http://science.monstersandcritics.com/news/article_1371089.php). That means for the first time Tutankhamun's face will be on public display. (Also, his toes, which happen to be freaky long.)

Is that hair that I see on his head? Amazing...Yeah really long toes, wonder what size shoe he would wear and if it was hard for him to walk distances much less run?
Sorry, at the moment I have images of Steve Martin and the song King Tut in my mind.

The length of the toes may be exaggerated by the shrunken skin. Remember that the foot is made up of the lines of bones that form the toes.
I don't think there is any hair showing but its possible. IIRC, it doesn't really rot due to its composition.

That's very cool. I'd love to have a chance to see the Boy King. I love the fact that such an inconsequential king has made such an impact 2000 years later due to the fact that his burial chamber was intact.

We got to go on a big field trip in 7th grade to the Big King Tut Exhibit in New York City. Moshe Dayan was there the same day.

I couldn't decide if it was hair or shadow, thanks for the information about the foot and toes.

That is total awesomeness. Did you roll your eyes the whole time and pretend to ignore the guy you liked?

It rocked! There was so much cool stuff in the exhibit, it was amazing. (One of the guys in my class got shoved by a secret service guy when he got too close to Dayan.)
