See this little guy-> :flowerdance: ? OK, I need to know, is he waving anything other than stalks? Like, are there actual pixel flowers on the green sticks I can see waving? Because if there are, I'm not seeing them. Are they perhaps ... beige?
Or is this some sort of meta inference I'm not savvy to?

Okay, here's a large view of it (don't mind the checkerboard background). There's a classic 4 pixel-and-1 flower at the top of the green stalks.

So there really are flowers at the tips of the stalks. It appears the yellow of the petals and the beige of the board background may be very similar in value, at least to these eyes.

It's definitely light on light. I could alter the yellow to a darker value.

No, do as you will, I just needed to know that there really were flowers on the stalks, even if I couldn't see them. The color doesn't matter too much.
Well, you could make them pink, I suppose. Or cornflower blue. But as long as I know there are flowers, I'm cool with it. I was beginning to suspect I was missing out on some in-joke, you see.

I just figured that the little guy was dancing so fervently that the flowers just flew off of the stalks.

I just assumed "flower dance" was a euphemism for something I didn't want to delve into.

Here's how to magnify a smiley (if you're in the html group):
<img width=111 height=72 src="/forum/images/smilies/_flower_dance__by_blaahy.gif" alt="Flower Dance" />
(quote this post to see how). I made the width and height three times the original here (you can see the original sizes by right clicking on a smiley and choosing properties...)
...and how to put a (magnified) smiley on a different coloured background:
<table bgcolor=black cellpadding=5 border=0><tr><td><img width=111 height=72 src="/forum/images/smilies/_flower_dance__by_blaahy.gif" alt="Flower Dance" />
</tr></td></table>

hm ... quite a puzzler... (I'm getting broken links, btw) Oh, and now I'm not. Must be some sort of time delay.

I tried that earlier but the embed didn't work! I'm using your syntax from now on, cep. :thankee:
Chris, you're not in the HTML group so cep's code won't work in your posts.

It didn't work for me at first Chris, and I edited it a few times - you must have seen a 'work in progress'
The preview post thing doesn't work for html, so I normally have to edit a few times before I get it right.

If only this could be sorted out. (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=445571#post445571)
