Welcome to Turtleheads Tea and Coffee at www.turtleheadsteaandcoffee.com (http://www.turtleheadsteaandcoffee.com/main.asp)

Look what mom & I found the other day.

Their selection is seriously amazing. I just downed a big-ass cup of Cinnamon Spice ("a blend of black teas, three types of cinnamon, orange peel, and sweet cloves. It's remarkably assertive, and that is its most admired quality"). Oh, and I got a totally adorable flower infuser.

Make a roadtrip, and we'll go here after a day of shopping!:shopping: :blossom::buttercp: :coffeemug:

In Oregon there is, Tao of Tea, which is a fun website to look at now because it is all about lotus blossom tea made in Vietnam.

Just remember in every Hong Kong action movie I have ever seen, if there is a scene at a tea house, you know the place is going to be busted up in an epic battle. So be careful!

Ooo, this reminds me, now that it's colder out, I need to get back into chai teas. Chocolate, caramel chai still stands as my favorite though. :tea:

I was just browsing Turtleheads Tea and Coffee (http://www.turtleheadsteaandcoffee.com/main.asp) and my love of oolong tea led me to their selection of oolong teas. :tea:

The Assam Kopili Estate Oolong Limited Edition (http://www.turtleheadsteaandcoffee.com/main.asp) and Turtle Girdle Yu Wi Oolong (http://www.turtleheadsteaandcoffee.com/main.asp) both sound delicious! :aristea:

I was going to make a hot cuppa chocolate caramel chai and then noticed directions to make iced chai on the box.

Hmm.. that sounds good..
:girlthink:

Well, I made it...

sip..sip
:tea:

and then...

Wow! This is great!
:yay!:

So, here's the recipe for y'all..

Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over one Celestial Seasonings, Chocolate Caramel Enchantment tea bag and let steep 4 to 6 minutes. :kettle:

Remove tea bag and stir in sweetener while tea is hot.

Fill a glass with :icecube:s, add 1/2 cup cold milk and slowly add chai.

Stir and enjoy! :drink:

For a sweetener I used honey, and rather than milk, I used vanilla soy milk and I used a huge glass.

Perfecto! :w00t:

I just made the above again and had an idea..

I think the a shot of kahlua added to the above would make one helluva mixed drink. :hellyes:

I've decided that I need to decaffeinate myself, BUT, I am not giving up my tea. :nuhuh:

I just went looking through my tea stash and found 16 different types of decaf tea to choose from. :excited: I don't have any decaf green tea though, so I'll pick up a box of that tomorrow. :tea:

I didn't mention this before, but, the men in my home have a definition for "turtlehead" that is not something you would want to stick in your mouth... something about "turtlehead poking out the back door" or some such...

"I've got a turtlehead poking out. It's making me all emotional."
