Like watching videos from Youtube, Google video, etc? Don't have the time to sit through them all? I found a nice solution. In the past I had used Firefox extensions like Video Download Helper (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006) to download flash videos from various sites and watch them later when I have time. Sometimes though, I found the extension (and others like it) either cumbersome or a bit confusing to use for various reasons.
Today I hit upon a very nice solution. It's Keepvid.com (http://keepvid.com/). Simply paste the url of the video you're watching into the site, and it will produce a hyperlink for you to download. Part of the process also converts in into an .avi file too! The site has some nice other goodies, like the ability to record streams, the ability to convert flash files into various formats, etc. Although these you have to pay for. It even has a button you can simply drag to your links toolbar in Firefox to download a video you're currently watching with one click! It's pretty fast too!
Overall, it's a very nice site. I've seen some other sites attempting to be as good as this one, and so far, this is the best I've found.
Sorry to sound like an advertisement, but this site is pretty sweet.
