You are entitled to be a loud mouth or a lurker, but did you read the rules of the forum? You must indicate whether you are male or female and if female you have to post a nude picture of yourself.
Other than that you can do as you please here. :pant:

Oh shit! ...Let's not go that route again.

dantonac, that's in appallingly bad taste. Ew.
Welcome to posting, Sweetie. I'm glad you like the smilies. I literally spent months collecting them, and yes, I am ashamed to admit to it, but I'm admitting it anyway. :)
Read, play, write a journal, do whatever you're comfortable with: just have a good time.

- :D I'm female. As for the nude pic, I don't think my husband would like everybody knowing why he calls me "Sweet". :suave:

dantonac, that's in appallingly bad taste. Ew.
Why?
viscousmemories

Why?
I know it's a little strange, but in some parts of the world it's considered in poor taste to ask a woman if she has any nude pics of herself upon meeting. Many cultures insist on starting with trivialties like "Hi" and "Are you from around here?" :D

I dunno, I once got a phone call from a complete stranger and the first thing he asked was "What are you wearing?" But then, I think he must have had some bad cold or something since his breathing was so labored and why else would he be unable to sleep in the middle of the night? :bettyboop:
Anyway! Glad to meetcha, Sweetie! :D

What part of the world would that be?
Seriously, I meant no offense and apologize for any caused. Once again I need to work on my humor as I am the only one who ever seems to find it funny. Then again my post here was an attempt to work on it. Drat.
Well, I will just keep trying and eventually I will figure this humor thing out.
Until then I suspect y'all can expect more of what you call appallingly bad taste.
Oh yeah, welcome Sweetie :shake:

Hiya, sweetie. Welcome to here.
Don't worry about being new and quiet - I more than make up for that by being old and loud.
Anyway, nice to meet you. :)

Hello Sweetie :hiya:
I'm also more likely to lurk than post - although I've probably posted more here than anywhere else for the short time I've been here. It is a very friendly place.
Try the arcade games. They are sooooo addictive.

Hi Sweetie,
I'm glad you unlurked long enough for us to meet you :)
Speaking for myself, I'm more interested in anything you have to say than what you look like. (And I expect I'm not the only one here who feels that way) But, feel free to lurk if that's your preference.

The part where women live :D

I expect so. Most things worth doing take some practice.
The problem with the nude photos joke is that it draws on a real prejudice which has hurt women for millenia and still does today: that some men care only about the bodies of women and not their ideas, opinions, knowledge, expertise and talents.
Until then I suspect y'all can expect more of what you call appallingly bad taste.
Thanks for the heads-up ;)

Oh, I know you weren't trying to be offensive, dantonac, and it doesn't look like Sweetie took any offense. I just think "show us your tits" posts are rude at most times, and even more so by way of introduction.
In any case, as vm says, no harm done. Hell, we even got an nice, juicy discussion going in an intro thread because of it, so from that angle you did great. ;)
Now, nvexio, otoh, has no justification whatsoever for that grammatical nightmare of a welcome post. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sweetie smacked him upside his head for it. (I'd be glad to help, Sweetie, just fyi. :didi: )

All right, Liv, would it be rude of me to say "Show me your tits?"
He he.

That's just pragmatism, not courtesy; it's pointless to find out what a woman looks like if she lives too far away.
