The face and identity of Anne Frank's one true love (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080226/people_nm/dutch_annefrank_dc) are revealed at last.

It's not like I don't know her story or haven't read her diary multiple times, but the tragedy of this just hit me all over again. At their age, never did they mind the politics, cultural divides and all the sorts of things which bring us to so much grief time and again. It was just...

One idiot submitter about this on fark.com said "which Anne Frank could never have seen because she was blind." or something like that, mixing Anne Frank up with Helen Keller.

Do you suppose the poster may have confused Anne Frank with Anne Sullivan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Sullivan)? Even so, it is still a pretty uninformed comment, to put it mildly.

It's still hilarious, though.
