Did anyone else catch the pilot episode for this series?

I found the premise uncomfortably contrived.

I mean, I realize that there is some credibility in determining potential human behavior via the use of statistics and that math is power :powerlift: , however, I just didn't buy the whole "Here ya go guys, I've written an equation that will lead us right to the serial killer".

Huh? I must have missed this one. Do you have a link, Ronin?

I don't, but I'll google one up for you.

It premiered right after the sucka$$ Eagles dropped kicked the Steelers back to the stone age.

:fuming:

Here it is - http://www.numb3rs.org/

What game were you watching? :P

The Eagles beat the Falcons, the Patsies were the ones putting the hurt on the Steelers... who didn't deserve to be there anyways.

Damn you Brien!

PS: I didn't watch the show. How many more copy-cat NYPD Blue meets CSI shows can we have on-air?!?!

It didn't matter because I was highly intoxicated and both my teams lost...

Hey...now that you mention it...my drunkification may have played a role in why I thought Numb3rs tanked. It's starting to add up now.

LOL.

It's ok... I know your pain (see above). I stopped caring the week before.

I thought the premise of the show might be interesting, but what they did with it was lame, lame, lame.

I too was saddened by the steeler loss.

long time terrible towel waiver. I was going to grow out some hair if they made the superbowl so I could dye it black and gold like I did the last time they made the superbowl. I quit shaving my head for the steelers jets game.

anwya, numb3rs looks like a fucking pile. I checked out your link.

I dont think that there was any possible way for it to be decent.

unless the math geeks were hot nordic naked chick math geeks then the show would be watchable.

I was unfortunate enough to see a sneak-peek of that horrible...thing when I was in Atlanta.

:puke:

If I ever bump into the person responisble for this show, I will quite possibly punch him/her in the face. Before this show should've been aborted but wasn't, there were enough people who not only loathed and feared mathematics, but thought it utterly arcane.

Who cares if they were nordic or not? Leave the rest of the qualifiers in there and you'd have a fan of the series for life! :P
