I have no idea what y'all are talking about. None at all. :shifty:

Hover over the roman numerals to get the boring ol' arabic version and remove the shroud of mystery from my horrendous posting excesses.

There's a little thread called Say Hi, Gracie which might fill you in on some of the new arrivals (and one of the depatures, as it happens). As for the rest of the soap opera, you're just gonna have to catch up the good old fashioned way, my friend.

That's the beauty of soap operas (or so I've been told). No matter when you last watched, no matter when you start watching again... give it a couple of episodes and anything of relevance will be once again known to you.

Oh suuuure... So you've been told. Uh huh. You never touch the stuff. I get it.

Ever since Santa Barbara (http://www.cybercom.net/~jima/sbhome.html) went off the air, I haven't had the heart to watch any other... :sadcheer:

Can you believe he's almost 60?

I had the hots for Marcy Walker.

Holy crap I'm old.

I had the hots for Marcy Walker.

Her nose is too buttony for my taste, but gustibus non disputandum and all that.

Holy crap I'm old.

LOL... hey wait, that puts me in the same boat!

Her nose is too buttony for my taste, but gustibus non disputandum and all that.

My tastes or yours? :P

Actually, I semi-dated a girl in college with a nose just like that... and ever since, I haven't been able to tolerate the look. She was just such a bitch, and now, whether accurate or not... I just see "bitch" when I see those types of noses.

To be ruined by infatuations at such an early age... :qsigh:

Oh yeah! Good thing I screen capped it (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=33404#post33404). :livcrop:

If you read that thread you'll discover, courtesy of Lunachick, that an MMMMLIX moment followed shortly after that. I took a cold shower.

I guess the real question is if you put in roman numerals so at some point mmmliv will theoretically be "said" by everyone at this board?

I can neither confirm nor deny. It's pretty cool though, ain't it?

I for one have no problem with the roman numerals, but I have to wonder just what kind of ubergeeky megadweeb would have thought of such a thing. That is a little disturbing, I tell ya.

You don't have to wonder (though you're welcome to be disturbed). It was Shake's idea, liv who got all excited about it, and yours truly who was forced :control: to make it happen.

Besides, it says right there on the home page: if you're not an ubergeeky megadweeb, please don't try to register.

Call me an ubergeeky megadweeb, but I couldn't be more thrilled with Joe's v-bar modification. I look so much less ubergeeky megadweeby without the extra 3 Ms, don't you think?

Et tu Joé?

How could you have involved yourself in such a thing?

JoeP

I don't know. It seemed like a challenge, so I just looked at the code (but I didn't inhale). Then there was all this peer pressure. You don't know what it's like. :control: (The drool is real.) Pretty soon I was onto the hard stuff, php.net/manual, vbulletin.com, that kind of thing.

I'm in a support group but I'm still mixing with dangerous types (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/memberlist.php?&order=DESC&sort=posts&pp=30&ltr=).
