This was taken in the Chinese Philosophers Garden at Hamilton Gardens while I was there for the balloon festival a couple of weeks ago. I've simply titled it "Philosophy". Hope you like it. :)

Thanks! I must say that I am quite proud of it. :)
I'm trying to work on a series taken at the same location, but given all the interruptions and other things I have to do, it may well be simply a series of one photo. lol.
Pleased you like it. :)

Nice. I really like the way the mist plays across the water, obscuring part of that perfect reflection.

Beautiful.
So much depth and profundity to be found in the stark contrast between black and white.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thanks!
I got caught up taking Zoe to the ER with a suspected fractured bone in her foot - she collided with a trick bike at the skateboard park :( - so haven't had much time to do any more processing of those Hamilton Garden pics, but when I do I'll be sure to fish for compliments right here! :D
Y'all are making my heart sing. :)

The picture is so crisp that it almost looks 3-D.
Very nice.

Well? Was her foot broken?
Dunno. After sitting in the waiting room for 4 hours on a Thursday night, we decided to leave it for this morning. She was triaged as non-urgent, which is fair enough - she did have her collision a couple of days ago, and it could just be a bad sprain - and more urgent needs were coming in thick and fast. It's a busy hospital that needs desperately to be expanded (in the time we were there, 3 ambulances came in; plus families brought in other sick, broken and bleeding people, all who were much worse off than Zoe. Also, Lyn was losing her marbles fast after the first hour and that made being there difficult as well.) We'll try again today - hopefully it'll be quieter this morning.
And thanks, Garnet! :D

That is a great picture, Petra! And it has so much vagina in it too!
I hope Zoe's foot is ok. No kicking.
