We got 2 new kitties yesterday. :^^
I tried to take pictures but they just won't sit still for a second! :shakecat: Here's the best I could do:

They are brothers. One is black the other chocolate coloured.

Grooming them must be a real pain.

Well, yes. You need a brush, a comb and baby-powder (!) ... But they are so damn cute. When you look at the pictures they look big but that's just all the hair. They are still really small and look like fur-balls. :melts:

My first fur-baby was a Persian. He's been gone over two years, I clean weekly, and I still find fur.

You've got two. Resign yourself to the fact you've lost that war already. ;)

Their fur is very long and apparently the powder makes it a lot easier to comb.

Of the many cats my family had while we were kids, hands-down the coolest one was a purebred silver-gray Persian named Bartholomew. A most classy and gorgeous cat.

He was also the baddest ass 17 pound tomcat in the neighbor and could beat the crap out of any other territory encroaching cat. Or beast, for that matter -- he once saved our poor helpless dog from a racoon attack. Dog took 10 stitches from the claw marks on his back, but the cat fought, won and ran the racoon off with nary a ruffle to his own silky silvery coat.
