The new season just got underway this week.

First game involved:

Curt Schilling
Brad Garrett
Catherine O'Hara
Sarah Rue
Ray Romano

I have to admit to having a serious crush on Sarah Rue. How could I not?

I ended up missing the last half of the game. It's weird, the two hour format is too long but the one hour format seems too short.

I know of at least one other fan of the show here. It's not a great display of poker gamesmanship, but it's a helluva lot of fun.

Oh crap, I missed it. Damn damn damn. Any particularly good moments worth sharing?

I'm a fan. Brad Garret was hilarious. Most of the appeal to me is watching actors and comics in an unscripted format. Sarah Rue, like many cute girls, had a way of doing a totally bitchy sweet smile when she lost a hand.

I too like celebrity poker. I often wonder how some of the celebs get picked to play because often they seem to have no knowledge of poker.

Hehe... as an aside, I caught my adorable grandpa (fundy Christian, gambling-is-a-sin variety) watching the other night. :giggle: I teased him about it for a little while and he was laughing his ass off.

I think with most of them it starts with their agent saying "You need exposure! I got you a gig in Vegas, you only have to work one day."

The people who take it really seriously always get me, like Norm MacDonald.
