View Full Version : I attacked a large brick wall last night and won

My car was totaled though. There is no way they're gonna bend that chassis straight again.

The road was wet. I was tired and had just dropped off my friend and coworker (and stayed for two glasses of wine before heading home, which I think combined with tiredness contributed to the accident).

The car veered to the left (I think I may have hit ice or a puddle or oil or something) and I over-steered right and left trying to bring it back straight again, but ended up spinning, bouncing the car off against two trees on the verge before hitting a wall. I think somewhere in the slow motion I pushed the accelerator unintentionally and made it worse.

When I phoned the cellphone company who's wall I knocked down, this morning, they seemed quite impressed with the scope of the destruction. I swear the chap on the other end thought it was funny.

No one got hurt, including yours truly. But I'm pretty pissed about losing the uninsured car I just bought cash just before a holiday in the UK. It means I'll have to pinch cash while I'm over there.

Well, since everyone else said it, I guess I should say that I'm glad you're fine.

Man, sometimes this groupthink thing we got going on here is a nuisance.

Just kidding, I am sincerely glad you're fine

Glad you are fine Farren.

Last week I attacked a stupid fat ass bitch who ran a stop sign at an intersection on my way to work. Bitch DIDN'T have insurance, but THANKFULLY the truck I had borrowed from my father had uninsured motorist.

He got a sweet deal out of the whole mess, I have to show up in court to testify that THE BITCH DIDN'T STOP, despite what she claimed to the officer.

Regardless, it is state law to carry at a minimum liability insurance so the State will be suspending her license.

Can't say I feel sorry for her.

But, I'm glad you are okay. Vehicles can always be replaced.

You know: at first I thought you were redecorating and had brought down a wall with a sledgehammer (really).

And now I keep thinking of this movie, Gegen die Wand (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0347048/) (Against the Wall) which starts with a guy driving into a wall.

Very good movie btw.

I've got nothing funny to say, (as usual) but I am glad you're ok and what kind of car was it?

They just don't make brick walls like they used to, eh?
