Where did you meet this handsome ungulate? I met one once who was a guard llama for a herd of alpacas.

I went to a lavender festival over the weekend and they had them on display next to a weaver's booth. They were pretty cool, but when he showed me his teeth, I had to shoot photograph him.

Oh wow lavender as in the lovely fragrant flowa? I want some lavender plants for my front yard so when people walk up the path they are immersed in good smells.

Definitely not a myth. My mother was spat on by a llama when she was 9 months pregnant with me. (I was a week late. Llama spit did the trick.)

I wasn't spit upon, thankfully.
The festival was a blast. We toured eight lavender farms, where there was music, food and vendors selling all kinds of things. We ate lavender ice cream and other such oddities. A great time! Here are a couple of highlights.

Ummmm...no. I was looking to download it because I'm too lazy to go across town after work to the video store. I might have time to rent it Friday after work though. :yup:

Yup I second the not a myth. Although I've never been spit on by a llama in my life. Most of the time I've seen them do it to other llamas while they are fighting over food.

Was that in Sequim, PW? I always mean to go, but I usually get reminded about it a week or so after its over.

Yes that was in Sequim, so I guess we are closer you have your reminder within 3 days this time. If I remember next year, I will try to remind you. That might be a big IF though, the remembering part that is.
