Hi
Back from a fabulous week down the south coast with family. Had a great time, dophin watching, swimming, canoeing, eating prawns and not killing each other. :nova:

Saw the first episode of "Lost", which is being shown three times this week. Just a tad over hyped me thinks.
It was interesting and i'm intrigued.
I don't have a TV so i won't see any more episodes, so what i want to know is what are the beasties on the island that can flatten palm trees, and pull guys out of cockpit windows and beat them to death on the plane?
Is it finished in the states yet, or not?
A week away from the computer seems to have eroded my googling skills.

I don't think positive ID's of all the beasties have been established, but some creatures have been identified, and they include big white bears, wild boar and some weird kidnapper guy named Ethan Rom. One of my wild theories is that the tree flattener/pilot grabber is a giant robotic mining crane. Sort of like a cross between The Flintstones and The Jetsons.

Here's a link discussing it on IIDB (http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=102435)

Thanks for the link, nobody knows what is happening. Sounds very convoluted.
I was hoping for cool dinosaurs.

 Another show i saw in my TV watching spree was the doco "Outfoxed". I've only seen Fox news a few times and it struck me as really bad and unprofessional. Not a one off thing then. Great doco, very scary news show. You guys can keep Murdoch. I'm always very glad we don't have the population to support something like that or Springer (which i will admit can be funny, but there is only so many trannies sleeping with thier Mums hairdresser and brother in a pop of 20 million can exist)

I also saw the last episode of "Outback Jack".....less said about that the better.
