i gave birth to three sons, all of whom are ostensibly adults now. they were all born and raised in MASS. so they are totally crazed over superbowl. Red Sox win pennant, now Pats in superbowl. what is worse, my youngest is in jacksonville which is infested with celebrities and complete madness. he has gone mad as cheese. he is wearing mass. logo everything down to his underwear. i am worried i will get a call from Jax PD before it's all over. who do you like or do you give a rat's ass?

I gotta go with the underdogs.

Hey...I picked all the losers a couple of weeks ago...no sense breaking something that isn't fixed.

Rat's ass for me too.

But I am going to a party. The husband of the couple hosting it is an electronics engineer and an inventor. I want to see all the gadgets, including the ever-popular electronic keg. This year, the game on their big screen will be exclusively solar powered, just to keep things interesting. He says he's pretty sure he's got enough juice stored up to last through the end of the game. :scared: Could be a riot if not.

Another ass of rat over here, por favor. I bet my dad is all juiced about the Pat's though. He's a Yankees fan, so he could use a boost.

I could care less. I will be in my room hiding during the game, or I may send them into my room and watch some movies out here. I cannot stand to listen to sports games on TV. Three hours of roaring.

Another rat's ass not given. But that would be the case no matter who was playing. I will be watching... the commercials.

I use the Super Bowl as an excuse to drink beer and eat huge amounts of food. I haven't liked football since they pussied it up with excessive rules. It pisses me off to watch quarterbacks bitch and moan about getting plowed to the ground. This ain't the ballet dumb ass!

Well... Unlike all you unwilling to donate a single little rat's patoot, I was in a giving mood this Sunday and watched it.

Since the Pats had already won it twice in the past two years, I thought it worthy to hope that the Iggles would prevail. It was not to be, but it was a fairly decent game in that it was close. Philly lost the game in turnovers. Ah, well....I didn't really care but the absolute minor amount...a rat's patoot...well, a mouse really...that's even smaller.

The season is over. So be it.

I read during the game and then watched Homer's halftime show.

I had no particular leanings toward either team -- I've got friends and relatives who favored either side -- but was pleased to see a well-played game. So much better than some blowouts of years passed.

A'yup. Season's over. Hey! Don't pitchers and catchers report to spring training this month? Only about 2 months 'til the new MLB season!!! :woohoo:

So much better than some blowouts of years passed.

Yeah, at least it wasn't a blowout. I appreciated that.

Saw the game but what do you expect from a Canadian that doesn't have the National Hockey League to rail about this year. Two more months and our Blue Jays are going to take the pennants all the way to the top. Bring 'em back where they belong. Into the Canadian club(Note lower case in club... don't wantch'ya thinking I've had too much CC)that deserves it!

Not being a blowout means that most the drinkers are about as drunk as each other, hence, not too many losers passing out in the corners. Woo-Hoo!

No rat's ass giving from these parts. Football is yet another religion which doesn't do anything for me.
