Hiya.

I downloaded some ebooks but they're .lit files and I don't know how to read them. Any clues?

Cheers! :)

Weird. Have you tried opening them in Word?

Those files need an app called Microsoft Reader. This page (http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/convlit.php) has source code for a freeware converter for .lit files, and there is a link to a precompiled version. I have not used it, so I don't know how reliable it is.

Download the Microsoft Reader here (http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/pc.asp)

Yeah, Word doesn't work.

I did find this, though: http://shell.windows.com/fileassoc/0409/xml/redir.asp?Ext=lit

So I guess I posted in haste, as I've found the solution already.

Sorry 'bout that.

LOL! I've only just got back from installing it (and running off to the shop up the road) and didn't realise so many people had replied apart from liv. :D

Thanks for your input, y'all.
