This is pretty cool. I got a little bored near the end there, but the results are interesting.

Compared to what?

I scored a 40. With a low of 0 and a high of 1429, with 99 indicated on the bar as "(high)", where does my 40 rate? Is that medium, or low? What size sample? Were they all males in their 50s? How do I rate compared to females in the, say, twenties?

This tells me not enough.

I lost interest about half way through the first line but I like moving the little boxes around.

I'm a 20-something female and got a 21. ;)

My score is a perfect 0

* Your score: 0
* Gender: Female
* Age range: 20-29
* Best score for your gender and age range: 0
* Highest score for your gender and age range: 1410

Holy shit! No wonder I used to love art class. Does this make me some sort of color genius?

That was a lot of work for not a lot of payoff. I scored a 3. I couldn't help but notice that the area of the spectrum where I am "weak" is the same as the fourth bar. As in, by the time I was way too over it to care anymore.

I got an 81. I still don't know what that means, although it did tell me I was high.

I got a 9..I wonder how much this test is effected by the quality of peoples monitors?

A decent amount, I'd wager.

I have a Gateway ML6721 widescreen laptop monitor
Display panel: 15.4-inch WXGA (1280 × 800)

I would bet that monitor does make a difference, but it's probably not the only factor. I say this because I know from having taken Color Theory that I am actually quite good at distinguishing differences in hue and chroma. I remember the first class in which we mixed paints. The rest of the class took the whole two hour period to mix their primary colors to get the exact hues the professor was looking for whilst I finished on the very first try 10 minutes into class and never made the slightest error thereafter.

I couldn't get past the first one. An LED or LCD or whatever kinda screen laptops have isn't all that great for color, for me. I kept having to move my head to find the right angle.

Come back online, dammit, I wanna play!

The cursed test is skewed against wanna-be pirates!

Keelhaul the test!
:hazor:

Actually, I got a 41. Considering that was the last thing I did before going to bed, I don't feel bad about it.

I scored a 6 and my little bars were all exactly the same height, across the entire spectrum.

Er...this is really hard.

Edit: I got a 12.

I got a 68 :sadcheer: In my defense I do have deuteranomaly. The green pigments in my eyes are of a mutated form, which causes mild red-green colorblindness. If it were missing, I would be completely red-green colorblind. (We've discussed this before, and yes, I can easily tell the difference between the red and green lights in traffic lights.)

I thought about changing the brightness and contrast on my monitor or something, but I didn't bother. That might have hurt my score...

I scored a 60. Don't know if it makes any difference, but I see colors differently in each eye. One eye sees much more blue than the other one does.

I got an 8.

My strategy involved swapping pairs to see whether they looked better or worse, once I had things basically in order. I'd love to see them show specifically which boxes were wrong.

I'm the only one here who got a perfect score? I thought it was pretty simple, and it only took me a few minutes.

I got a 4, I'm 50, and have developing cataracts. My weakest area was blue-green, but it always has been. Test took about 3-5 minutes.

No. It does ask me for a password, though.

55 but I got bored. I know I could have done a little better with a decent monitor - took the test on a cheap laptop.

Heh, I took mine on a cheap laptop too. I don't think it makes that much of a difference?

I tried it and got an 8 -- I had trouble in orange and yellow-green. I tried it again and got a 4 -- I had trouble in blue. So my color vision is about as good as it gets.

I have a 20" iMac with a LCD monitor.

I tried using my color-blindness simulator (http://homepage.mac.com/lpetrich/ColorBlindnessSim/ColorBlindnessSim.html) on it, and not surprisingly, it was much more difficult to distinguish many of the hues.
