:thankee: everyone for the "Happy Birthdays"! :aww:

Already had the party and got most of the gifts on Saturday. :D I often get my Birthday early because my sisters is just a few days before mine. That used to annoy her when we were younger. :giggle:

Today I am off to the air and space museum to feed my aviation fetish.

The Air and Space Museum is a fine choice for a birthday activity.

I get all teary eyed when I see the Huey behind the IMAX.

Happy birthday Crumb!

I hope you enjoy the trip! I am sorry I can't think of any good restaurants out that way, although I hear there are some.

I had a delicious homemade crepe breakfast. :yummy: So I don't really care too much about dinner or lunch. I'll just eat whatever. :)

Why's that?

That was my bird when I was a crew chief in the Army. I've spent many exciting, terrifying, and boring hours on a Huey Hog. I've completely torn them down and rebuilt them and still know them inside and out. I've slept in them, puked in them, cried in them, mopped up blood in them, met generals and senators in them, and basically spent the most intense years of my life in them. When we were in a tight spot, and the Blackhawks were broke down, guess which bird always rose to the occasion. People say you can't truly love a machine, but that's complete hooey.

Anyway, how was the museum? Isn't the Spruce Goose amazing!

Ensign Steve

Anyway, I was in London in the eighties and sat around at Heathrow for a bit watching the Concord land and take off. It was loudest aircraft I've ever heard, next to the B-1.
