Can I please get a translation of this:

yeah, you can do what you want! I'm a man and straight, so disgust it totally. Don't let my kids get confused. Where're our rights to be leave alone in the way it should naturally be?

I think tights are cute on men. But sheer pantyhose? Kinda creepy.

I'm a red-blooded american and so are my sons! When we play football I intentionally throw the ball into the rose bushes so my boys won't be pansy ass faggots when they grow up!

And a couple of their pictures looked ok. Too much of it reminded me of old-timey costumes tho from the 16-1700s.

Now, seeing as I have no intention of shaving my (pretty hairy) legs, I have to wonder how they end up looking on guys who don't shave. You'd have to use only deeply colored ones, wouldn't you?

I'm not exactly sure of the difference...Tights tend to be much more opaque than sheer hose, therefore they do a better job of covering up hairy legs. :yup:

I myself am partial to tights made of cotton or wool, which makes them practically like longjohns anyway! They are great to wear under jeans for extra warmth without as much bulk as longjohns.

Army types have been wearing pantyhose for some time, though they tend not to admit it. It serious cuts down on friction during long road marches.

:yeahthat: I heard stories from some of the older wives that in Desert Storm the guys would request them to help deal with the sand fleas.

Here's the more manly version (http://www.comfilon.com/benefits_Work.asp)

They actually look nice, especially the colored and patterned ones. The sheer ones came across as looking a little odd to me... but I won't mind giving it a try some day but I have pretty hairy legs myself too so I'm not sure how good it would look on me.

ETA: I really like the Activskin legwear, I know my legs can get pretty chilly during wintertime but I've always avoid getting longjohns cuz I find them to be too bulky.

Good lord--- I hate panty hose--- why would anyone who didn't HAVE to have them wear them?

Yeah, but that's your choice, right? So you're in a position to answer jess' question: "why would anyone who didn't HAVE to have them wear them?"

I already know the answer to mine: A few people who have it as part of their uniform, but mostly nobody.

I also know my answer to jess' question: Because they're fashionable and flattering.

I've worked at two different companies where women were required to wear pantyhose. At the first one, it was an unwritten but very well known policy; and at the other, it was written down, but short lived.

To hide the hairy unshaven legs?
To drive Puerto Rican men crazy with your thick, black hair under the sheer tights?

I'm not sure about the second one, as I got that from a book called, "When We were Puerto Rican", but I rarely shave my legs so have to resort to tights in a professional setting.

How to put on (http://www.e-mancipate.net/articles/pantyhose_putting_on_001.htm) your mantyhose

Maybe jess would find pantyhose more appealing if it was taboo for her to wear it :P

I'd consider wearing it, but I'd want to assiduously avoid any of those outfits that make you look like you're in a period piece. Which is to say that I probably won't ever wear it, cuz I'd have to go out of my way to get some, and I don't have that much of an urge to wear them (same thing applies to skirts and such for men). But if someone provided me with some, I might try it sometime if I was going somewhere I'd feel comfortable wearing such things (i.e. not out and about in rural North Carolina, lol).

Law Enforcement
ACTIVSKIN has proven itself valuable for the law enforcement community. Its enhanced climate control and circulation features help energize and protect the legs.

"ACTIVSKIN is extremely comfortable under traditional cycling pants. I found them to do an above average job of retaining body heat but breathable enough so as not to cause a build up of sweat."
